Second (2️⃣) milestone


Today we bring you all our second milestone!


We are very proud with what we made because most of the main game mechanics and funtionalities have been implemented, but most importantly, the game feels fun and we've had a great time play testing. The assets have been very useful to use both because they are very easy to use (kinda like lego) and bring a lot of clarity and visual cohesion to the game. Despite how basic the controls are they are responsive and are appropriate for our arena. And quality of life functionalities like going to the main menu and exiting the game all work correctly now. There is still work left to do if we want to implement different mechanics for each character, more fun movement and a more complex arena but we are confident we will get there on schedule.


Since our last buld we added our last class... THE BARBARIAN.


We also added a preview screen showing your character before starting the game.

And a  small icon showing who is carrying the bomb so you can know who to avoid.


In some miscellaneous bug fixes, the main screen doesn't show a grey void when changing the window size, the main and exit button that show after finishing a round work as intended as previously mentioned and the animation when pressing the "give bomb" button actually plays when pressing the LMB instead of Enter like it did previously.

We hope to bring you more updates soon, be excited because we are getting closer and closer to the end of development :)
