The secrets undergound (and other improvements)


We are happy to say that we are almost finished with this project. Since our last update, we have made improvements to the way the characters control and the abilities they have, the lighting of the game, some visual effects and we made the arena more fun to play in. We feel that we are right on schedule with the features and we have a lot to cover, so brace yourselves.




The biggest change since the last update is the map, both the way it is structured and the way it looks, now there's a secret basement under the stairs connecting each tower and the bridge, under there, you can hide from the bomb carrier. However, due to the fences in here, it's quite tricky to move around here, and the way out to the world above requires a very precise jump, so if you get caught here with the bomb carrier, I wish you good luck!. To prevent players from hiding in here, we added grids on the ground so players can look through them and catch any people hiding, or the people hiding can see when someone is coming down, it's also a good way to catch the curiosity of new players and help them find this secret basement. If you pay attention, you'd also notice that the lighting of the map changed, now it looks more like midday than a sunset, this was done to see players underground better.



As promised before, now (most of) our characters have a specific ability, as seen above, the hunter can reduce her size, making her harder to catch and allowing her to go through small places (like windows or under the fences underground), the mage can teleport a small distance forward, being able to even go through thin walls, the hunter is able to run and jump faster for a small window of time, we still have not implemented a power for the knight, but it will be available in the next update.






We also added a new animation when picking a class on the select screen and a timer to get ready before each round.

A very important change that we made that we cannot describe with an image is the way the characters control, so please, we encourage you to try the new movement mechanics and give us your feedback!

Right now we are working on making the movement mechanics more fun, the special ability for the knight, fixing some bugs, adding sound effects and making the map look prettier, we are very close to the final product, we are very excited and we hope you are as well :)
